At-Tawbah 9:54

وَمَا مَنَعَهُمْ أَن تُقْبَلَ مِنْهُمْ نَفَقَـٰتُهُمْ إِلَّآ أَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَبِرَسُولِهِۦ وَلَا يَأْتُونَ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كُسَالَىٰ وَلَا يُنفِقُونَ إِلَّا وَهُمْ كَـٰرِهُونَ

And what prevents their expenditures from being accepted from them but that they have disbelieved in Allāh and in His Messenger and that they come not to prayer except while they are lazy and that they do not spend except while they are unwilling.

ثم أخبر تعالى عن سبب ذلك ، وهو أنهم لا يتقبل منهم ، ( إلا أنهم كفروا بالله وبرسوله ) أي : [ قد كفروا ] والأعمال إنما تصح بالإيمان ، ( ولا يأتون الصلاة إلا وهم كسالى ) أي : ليس لهم قصد صحيح ، ولا همة في العمل ، ( ولا ينفقون ) نفقة ( إلا وهم كارهون )وقد أخبر الصادق المصدوق أن الله لا يمل حتى تملوا ، وأنه طيب لا يقبل إلا طيبا ؛ فلهذا لا يتقبل الله من هؤلاء نفقة ولا عملا لأنه إنما يتقبل من المتقين .
