Tafsir Ibn Kathir
Hafiz Ibn Kathirقال الله تعالى : ( فقد كذبوا بالحق لما جاءهم فسوف يأتيهم أنباء ما كانوا به يستهزئون ) وهذا تهديد لهم ووعيد شديد على تكذيبهم بالحق ، بأنه لا بد أن يأتيهم خبر ما هم فيه من التكذيب ، وليجدن غبه ، وليذوقن وباله .

Word by wordفَقَدْ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِٱلْحَقِّ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ ۖ فَسَوْفَ يَأْتِيهِمْ أَنۢبَـٰٓؤُا۟ مَا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
For they had denied the truth when it came to them, but there is going to reach them the news of what they used to ridicule.
