Ali 'Imran 3:81

وَإِذْ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَـٰقَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ لَمَآ ءَاتَيْتُكُم مِّن كِتَـٰبٍ وَحِكْمَةٍ ثُمَّ جَآءَكُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَكُمْ لَتُؤْمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥ ۚ قَالَ ءَأَقْرَرْتُمْ وَأَخَذْتُمْ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمْ إِصْرِى ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَقْرَرْنَا ۚ قَالَ فَٱشْهَدُوا۟ وَأَنَا۠ مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ

And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allāh took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [Allāh] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses."

يخبر تعالى أنه أخذ ميثاق كل نبي بعثه من لدن آدم ، عليه السلام ، إلى عيسى ، عليه السلام ، لمهما آتى الله أحدهم من كتاب وحكمة ، وبلغ أي مبلغ ، ثم جاءه رسول من بعده ، ليؤمنن به ولينصرنه ، ولا يمنعه ما هو فيه من العلم والنبوة من اتباع من بعث بعده ونصرته ، ولهذا قال تعالى وتقدس : ( وإذ أخذ الله ميثاق النبيين لما آتيتكم من كتاب وحكمة ) أي : لمهما أعطيتكم من كتاب وحكمة ( ثم جاءكم رسول مصدق لما معكم لتؤمنن به ولتنصرنه قال أأقررتم وأخذتم على ذلكم إصري )وقال ابن عباس ، ومجاهد ، والربيع ، وقتادة ، والسدي : يعني عهدي .وقال محمد بن إسحاق : ( إصري ) أي : ثقل ما حملتم من عهدي ، أي ميثاقي الشديد المؤكد .( قالوا أقررنا قال فاشهدوا وأنا معكم من الشاهدين)
