Hafiz Ibn Kathirوقوله : ( فتقطعوا أمرهم بينهم زبرا ) أي : الأمم الذين بعث إليهم الأنبياء ، ( كل حزب بما لديهم فرحون ) أي : يفرحون بما هم فيه من الضلال; لأنهم يحسبون أنهم مهتدون;

Word by wordفَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ زُبُرًا ۖ كُلُّ حِزْبٍۭ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَ
But they [i.e., the people] divided their religion among them into portions [i.e., sects] - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing.
