Hafiz Ibn Kathirيقول تعالى آمرا رسوله ، صلوات الله وسلامه عليه ، أن يقول للمشركين : ( إنما يوحى إلي أنما إلهكم إله واحد فهل أنتم مسلمون ) أي : متبعون على ذلك ، مستسلمون منقادون له .

Word by wordقُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
Say, "It is only revealed to me that your god is but one God; so will you be Muslims [in submission to Him]?"
