Before sleeping and upon waking
Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
Sahih Al-Bukhari 11:113
All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us, and unto Him is the resurrection.
Sahih Al-Bukhari 11:113
Qul Huwallahu Ahad (recite Surah al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, an-Nas — blow into cupped hands and wipe over body)
Recite Surah al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, and an-Nas three times, blow into cupped hands, then wipe over the body starting with the head and face.
Sahih Al-Bukhari 6:536
A'udhu billahi minash-shaytanir-rajeem
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed devil. (Spit lightly to the left three times and turn over to the other side upon seeing a bad dream.)
None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, with no partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and all praise, and He is over all things omnipotent. Glory be to Allah, all praise is due to Allah, none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might or power except with Allah.
Sahih Al-Bukhari 2:323
Alhamdulillah
All praise is due to Allah. (Upon seeing a good dream, praise Allah and tell those you love. Do not tell it to those who may be envious.)
Sahih Al-Bukhari 9:119Each dua is shown with its reference where the source records one, so you can check it. Duas whose wording you intend to rely on in worship are worth confirming with a qualified teacher.
